Nudo Torrone by Torronificio Trapani
This torrone is based on a centuries old family recipe. Nonno Mario was the first to make it, 'persuaded' (history does not record how) by a Spanish invader 200 years ago to try his turrĂ³n recipe. The result was a heart breakingly delicious nougat. Today it is made by Agnese and family, who pack in loads of organic almonds and honey from their own orange grove.
