When we started baking and selling our cookies back in 1985, our philosophy was pretty simple, use only highest quality ingredients, including really big chunks of chocolate, nuts or other good things necessary for truly premium cookies and never use added preservatives. By 1995, we were selling nationwide and we learned there were some people who would eat only all natural ingredients. Clearly, these people had a right to our delicious cookies too. So in addition to our original cookies we added all natural line, this time using only unprocessed ingredients such as evaporated cane juice, 100% butter, all natural chocolate, etc. The results a truly delicious all natural cookie.
